ROTECH - PROFILE

Under the guidance of Dr Hector Susman, Ken Stewart and Donald Stewart (See Key Personnel) Aberdeen based Rotech has become a highly respected R & D company with considerable expertise in the offshore oil and gas industries and the technical problems involved. Rotech Holdings Ltd was formed in 1994 and has invested in excess of £15 million in R & D in the six years up to June 2004. This investment is internally funded from the successful sale of previous technology licences. Since 1998 Rotech has achieved licences for its drilling technology in excess of £20 million.

Rotech employs over 110 people and has specialists in many engineering disciplines but with particular strengths in fluid dynamics, mechanical and structural engineering, manufacturing/machining/fabrication and hydraulics.

Rotech is Lunar Energy’s chosen technical collaborator and they have been responsible for the successful development of the RTT. Intellectual Property Rights in the RTT rest with Rotech with Lunar Energy retaining a worldwide licence to commercially exploit the technology.
